On October 23-24, 2023, the first forum of the council of young specialists of the company “Tau-Ken Samruk” was held at the mine of “ShalkiaZinc LTD” JSC. 23 young specialists under the age of 35 from different regions of Kazakhstan participated in the forum. The youth forum gathered to discuss the actual issues of youth policy, in particular, to provide personnel for the industries under construction, to express the interests of young workers, to ensure the interaction of young people with the management of the company.

The participants of the forum organized an excursion to the historical city of Turkestan, to the mausoleums of Arystanbab and Khoja Ahmet Yassaui. Also, within the framework of the forum, young professionals went to the first horizon of the mine of JSC “ShalkiyaZinc” mine and got acquainted with the work of miners.

In order to strengthen friendship and promote a healthy lifestyle, a team of young professionals took part in a sports event dedicated to “Republic Day” among the workers of industrial enterprises located in Zhanakorgan district, with the participation of residents of Shalkiya village and representatives of the district akimat. Teams competed in individual sports such as table tennis, arm wrestling, as well as team sports such as mini-football, volleyball, tug-of-war and streetball.
